About the Shabia Group
Established in 1987, the Shabia Group of Companies is a privately owned group with almost a quarter of a century of experience in the Middle East providing total solutions for the engineering requirements of the Oil and Gas and Marine Industry, with services spanning Design, Manufacturing and Installation of Process Piping systems, Oil and Gas Downstream Modules

Al Shabia's client list covers the EPC majors in the region, from Lamprell and Dubai Drydocks to McDermott and various divisions of the ADNOC group.
Divisions
Based in the new Emirates Industrial City in Sajja, Sharjah, our new headquarters have been purpose built to handle all manner of steel fabrication projects. This office also houses the Engineering, Project Planning and Procurement teams and is the hub from which the production at all sites is planned.
Our Jebel Ali facility houses our heavy CNC equipment including Oxy-plasma plate cutting, heavy plate forming and dedicated non-ferrous working areas.
Our largest facility, based in Sharjah's Hamriya Freezone serves as the staging area for some of our largest projects for the Oil and Gas and Marine industry. Its close proximity to the jetty, customs exempt Free Zone status and large open working area make it ideal for carrying out oversized projects which will be delivered by sea.

From skids to platforms, from pipe racks to specialized subsea structures, we can build test and deliver them all. Structures ranging in size from a square meter to hull blocks spanning 60 meters, have been built, tested and delivered from Al Shabia's various facilities.
Our ASME U-Stamp certfied facilities regularly cater to the requirements of the region's Oil & Gas majors. Surge vessels for water treatment, Pig Launching and Recovery systems for offshore operations, Mud-gas separators and Knockout Drums for local and international clients are staples facets of our design and production activities.
Highly specialized electrochlorination packages and containerized RO plants delivered throughout the Middle East have been built at our facilities.
A background of 25 years, has produced a strong and efficient shipbuilding team, capable of tackling vessels from 32 meter shallow water tugs to 30,000 DWT bulk carriers

From ASME U-Stamped pressure vessels to CuNi piping built to DNV specifications for operation in the North Sea, our skilled, certified welding techicians are monitored by an experienced team of QC Engineers who ensure that the job is done right the first time
New build vessels from 30,000 Ton DWT bulk carriers to 57 m utility vessels, our group reguarly builds multiple vessels simultaneously with class approvals from Lloyds, ABS, BV and others
Our design services range from any vessels goverened by ASME Sec VII, Division 1 and 2 to BS5950 approved structural work and DNV certified Offshore Equipment and Diving Systems.
